Geocities was one of the first places I started out when I first started creating my own websites. I remember that Geocities was the place where I started to learn about HTML and CSS, and from there, I taught myself more.

I remember the first site I created on Geocities was a fan site for the band Five, and then I also created a fan site for a singer I was a fan of as well.

Do you remember Geocities?

I never use it personally but I hear about it from one older guy in my street. Those days the internet was simple, not like how everything is monetized and stressful now. Those early internet days was more enjoyable but now, everything has turned to hustling .

I remembered it well, but I didn't get into using it. Instead, I was into Yahoo! Groups and that was from the same company.

Oh man, I do remember this, think I had something up on it as well as a fun project. Miss this and other classic sites.

I never actually had a site on there myself, but the name does take me back!

I'm not sure if I used Geocities or not as an admin, but did use it as a visitor. Well, in that era, I was into Yahoo! Groups which is owned by the same company.
